Dyess AFB JLUS Study Area

Dyess AFB is located in Taylor County in north-central Texas. The installation is within the city limits of the City of Abilene and is adjacent to the City of Tye. The JLUS Study Area encompasses lands in the vicinity of Dyess AFB that could be impacted by, or cause impacts to, normal operations that occur at the base, such as noise or safety associated with flight operations. The Study Area is shown below.
